Belarus bans rail transportation of goods from Lithuania

Belarus imposes a ban on the transportation of a number of goods from Lithuania by rail, the Minsk-News agency writes with a link to the message of The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.

Such measures were taken in response to the decision of the Lithuanian government to ban the transit of Belarusian potash fertilizers to the port of Klaipeda for shipment.

The ban will come into force on February 7, 2022. It refers to rail transport that goes from the territory of Lithuania.
