Belarus developed a plan to reduce carbon emissions

The government has approved a national action plan to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by civil aircraft operators in Belarus, BELTA writes.

The national Plan has been developed in order to implement the provisions of the Paris Climate Agreement. According to the resolutions of the International Civil Aviation Organization Assembly, Belarus should prepare national action plans to reduce CO2 emissions and submit it to the Organization.

Thanks to compensation and reduction of CO2 emissions, it will be possible to prevent dangerous climate changes and reduce the concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.
