Belarus developed plan for provincial cities

The Minister of Economy of Belarus spoke about the concept of the state policy of provincial development of Belarus, the website of the Ministry of Economy writes. The document contains specific proposals on how to create an alternative to Minsk in provincial cities in terms of employment, income, and comfortable living.

The concept defines the basic directions and conditions for the development of the country's provincial territories. Its main goal is to balance the development of all regions of the country and reduce differences in the economy. First of all, to smooth out the differences in salaries.

The main task is to create high-performance jobs with competitive wages in the regions. This will be facilitated by the emergence of new export-oriented industries in the regions and, of course, the modernization of existing enterprises.

The second task is to make comfortable living conditions. This mainly concerns housing, medical care, education, transport and housing and communal services.
