Belarus entered top 5 countries in promoting basketball among girls

Following the results of the meeting of the Board of Youth projects of the European Basketball Federation, Belarus entered the Top 5 countries in organizing, conducting and promoting a project aimed at the development of basketball among girls, BelTA reports.

In addition to Belarus, Greece, North Macedonia, Romania and Kosovo were in the top five. All these countries will receive an additional cash bonus for the further implementation of the competitions under the program "Her world, her rules". The total volume of investments this year will be 1 million euros.

The project "Her world, her rules" has gained great popularity among Belarusian girls. The next event will be a 3x3 basketball tournament, in which teams of girls aged 13 and 15 will take part. The competitions will be held on August 21 near the Sports Palace in Minsk.

We remind you that Belarusian rowers took 13 medals at the open championship of Russia.
