Belarus expands the use of digital assets in business transactions

Belarus has authorized legal entities to use tokens as a means of payment for certain foreign trade transactions through crypto banks, Minsk-News notifies.

The new rules apply to export and import operations, as well as selected activities in the leasing and forex sectors.

The measure is aimed at advancing the digital economy and integrating modern financial instruments into international trade.

It is expected to provide businesses with more flexible settlement.
