Belarus' GDP grew by 2.3% in 2021

According to the first assessment of the National Statistical Committee, the volume of GDP at current prices amounted to BYN173.2 billion. This is 102.3% of the level of 2020, BELTA writes.

The GDP deflator index was 113.1% compared to the previous year.

In 2021, the real incomes of the population also increased by 2%. By the end of 2021, the growth slowed down: in January-August it was 2.9%, and in January-October it was 2.2%.

Wages occupy 65% of the total monetary resources of the population. Income from entrepreneurial activity is 7.8%, pensions and benefits account for 22.7%, income from property and other income - 4.5%.
