Belarus' gold reserves have been growing for the fourth month in a row

The Belarus' international assets showed another increase after a slight drop in early summer and autumn 2022. As of January 1, 2023, Belarus' assets amounted to $ 7,929.5 million, Sputnik reported.

Compared to last month, the country's reserves increased by 1.6%. In August, international assets showed a slight decline, and the largest drop was observed in March.

In the middle of the year, a little less than half of the gold reserves were monetary gold. In second place were assets in foreign currency.
