Belarus has become the largest supplier of electricity to Ukraine
Belarus, Russia and Slovakia are among the top three suppliers of electricity to Ukraine in 2021, BELTA writes.
In 2021, Belarus and Russia imported to Ukraine 75.5% of the volume of electricity. Most of the electricity was imported from Belarus — 69.5%. Slovakia is in second place with 18.2%.
In December 2021, the volume of Ukraine's electricity imports increased by 80.5% compared to November. Its volumes exceeded exports by 1.3 times, which is due to an increase in imports from Belarus by 95%.
