Belarus has created its own vaccine against Covid-19

Alexander Lukashenko said that Belarus has developed its own vaccine against coronavirus infection, belta.by reports.

"Yesterday we received our own Belarusian vaccine in a test tube. Another one, different from what we're buying today. As doctors call it, a live vaccine, " Alexander Lukashenko said.

Lukashenko noted that Belarus is not in a hurry to use the vaccine - he wants to see "what will happen the day after tomorrow, when the disease changes." In his opinion, there are no guarantees that the national vaccine will cope with the new strains of COVID-19.

"Today we have vaccines that work. According to Russian technologies, the Chinese vaccines were bought . And tomorrow we will adapt our vaccine, which is already in the test tube, to the strain that we will have, " Alexander Lukashenko said.
