Belarus has developed an express test for COVID-19

Belarus has started to produce rapid tests for COVID-19 - "SARS-CoV-2-Antigen". This is the development of scientists from the National Academy of Sciences, minsknews.by reports.

The developers used the method of immunochromatographic analysis. The test itself is performed literally in 10-15 minutes without the use of laboratory equipment. And it allows you to detect both in a medical institution and independently, the presence of the coronavirus antigen.

In addition, Belarusian scientists have also created an express test for the qualitative determination of antibodies to coronavirus infection SARS-CoV-2. There will already need a drop of blood.

At the same time, experts note that rapid tests show preliminary results, for a more in-depth examination, you need to contact a healthcare institution.
