Belarus has made changes to the Education Code

The document includes more than 200 changes and more than 12 new norms, BELTA writes.

Now a network form of education has appeared in Belarus, which grants educational institutions the right to use the material base and resource capabilities of other institutions.  Also, private educational institutions have been given the opportunity to receive partial funding from the state.

In addition, jobs will be reserved for young people from the category of orphans or with special psychophysical development. They will be able to start working immediately after graduation.

General higher education will last 4-4.5 years, it gives a bachelor's degree. Advanced higher education with a master's degree will last from 1 to 2 years. Continuous higher education will last from 5 to 6 years.

Since 2023, enrollment in institutions of secondary special education will be carried out according to the results of the competition of the average score of the certificate. And additional entrance tests are being introduced for applicants to specialties that require special managerial and practical skills, the need for work experience to receive education in correspondence and evening forms.
