Belarus has started vaccinating children against coronavirus

Belarus has started vaccinating children against coronavirus today, minsknews.by reports.

The Chinese vaccine Vero Cell is used. Children aged 12 to 17 years can get the vaccine with informed consent of their parents.

According to the Ministry of Health, 16-year-old Roman became the first patient in the sixth polyclinic in Minsk today.

Vaccination can be carried out no earlier than 6 months after the child has suffered from COVID-19 infection, in accordance with the instructions for the medical use of an immunobiological drug, the general characteristics of the drug and the absence of contraindications for vaccination in children.
