Belarus has taken additional measures to develop international road cargo transportation

The President of Belarus signed Decree No. 29, which describes additional measures for the development of international road transport of goods in the country, writes pravo.by.

The decree exempts new Euro-6 ecological class trucks that are imported to Belarus from the recycling fee and value added tax. This will allow Belarusian carriers to purchase equipment that meets the high requirements of environmental standards, which is necessary for transportation across the territories of the European Union countries.

The decree comes into force on February 5 and extends its effect to relations that have arisen since January 1, 2022.
