Belarus increased freight rail transportation to China

The volume of rail container traffic between Belarus and China has increased fivefold over the past 2022 year, reaching 120 thousand twenty-foot equivalents, Sputnik reported.

Belarus continues to reorient freight traffic flows to the East. China is an important logistics partner of the country. Supply routes to other Asian countries also pass through China.

This week Belarus and China agreed on the supply and production of medical equipment and signed a strategy for joint industrial development.
