Belarus' international reserve assets decreased by $100 million
In early August, Belarus' gold and foreign exchange reserves amounted to $7.561 billion in equivalent. And in July they increased by $55.5 million. However, in August, reserves decreased by $97.6 million, Sputnik.by reported.
As of September 1, the volume of international reserve assets amounted to $7.464 billion. This is $1 billion less than at the end of 2021.
The strongest reduction in reserves occurred in March of this year. Then they fell from $8.264 billion to $7.571 billion.
According to the plan, as of January 1, 2023, the volume of gold and foreign exchange reserves should be at least $ 7 billion.
