Belarus is ready to export electricity

According to the Energy Minister, if necessary, Belarus is ready to export electricity to neighboring countries, Sputnik reported. This will be possible thanks to the inclusion of the second unit of the Belarusian NPP.

Taking into account the operation of two power units of the Belarusian NPP, the volume of electricity will amount to more than 40% of the total demand of the country. According to the plan, the nuclear power plant will primarily cover the needs of the domestic market.
