Belarus lost three positions in Global Innovation Index

The World Intellectual Property Organization has released the Global Innovation Index 2023 report, in which Belarus dropped from 77th to 80th place, Devby.io reported.

Now Belarus is between Tunisia and Kazakhstan. In 2021, the country ranked 62nd.

The authors of the index compare countries by seven parameters. Belarus has the best position in terms of human capital and science (37th place among 132 countries.
