Belarus may create a biotechnological cluster for the production of medicines

The Ministry of Health of Belarus and Jifei, the Chinese pharmaceutical company, plan to sign cooperation agreements in the near future, Sputnik reported.

The parties agreed to work out the issue of creating a biotechnological cluster for the production of medicines, vaccines, insulin and CAR-T technologies in the Great Stone Industrial Park.

The day before, the President of Belarus signed a decree aimed at implementing projects in the field of pharmaceuticals, production of medical devices and equipment in the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park "Great Stone".

In particular, the document establishes a simplified procedure for state registration in Belarus of dietary supplements that are produced and registered in China.
