Belarus may send specialists to build a nuclear power plant in Hungary

Belarus and Hungary are forming a joint expert group that will discuss cooperation on the construction of the NPP unit, Sputnik reported.

Belarus is discussing with Hungary the possibility of involving Belarusian specialists in the construction of the Hungarian Paks-2 NPP. The new unit will have the same reactor installed as at the Belarusian NPP.

At the end of August last year, Hungary granted Rosatom a license to build a nuclear power plant. The construction of the station is planned to begin in the spring-summer of 2024.

Let us remind you that trainings of Belarusian cosmonauts for the flight to the ISS have already begun.
