Belarus needs its own merchant navy

The deputy head of the Presidential Administration of Belarus said that the country needs to develop maritime logistics, as exports to Africa, Asia and Latin America are growing, Sputnik reported.

Belarus needs its own fleet and maritime logistics structure. At the same time, the Belarusian side, together with Russian colleagues, is working on railway logistics routes to ports and to the final consumer.

The authorities will support their exporters in developing logistics networks.
