Belarus Opens Maldives For Tourists

According to onliner.by, starting 10 November, the Volkovysk region along other regions became a part of the expanded visa-free zone and is now available to foreign guests within a tour group, but Belarusians are still not allowed to the site.

The Belarusian Maldives are actually considered to be technical reservoirs – swimming here is extremely dangerous. The depth of the pits may reach up to 25 meters, there are no organised beaches and water quality is poor since the number of bacteria exceeded the norm by almost a hundred times.
