Belarus plans to start production of "Sputnik V" vaccine by the end of the year

It is planned to start the full production cycle of the "Sputnik V" vaccine in Belarus by the end of 2021. This was announced today by the Minister of Health of the country Dmitry Pinevich, minsknews.by reports.

The vaccine will be produced on a "full cycle" on Aranskaya Street on the Belmedpreparaty enterprise.

In the future, after the development of "Sputnik V", the production of "Sputnik Lite" can be launched. "It’s localization will be needed only when it is clear that "Sputnik Lite" will go into wide circulation and there will be economic feasibility for this" - Pinevich said.

He added that children's versions of "Sputnik" are already being developed in Russia.
