Belarus ranked 35th in the ranking of the most powerful countries in the world

The ranking was compiled in partnership with BAV Group, the global marketing communications division of VMLY & R, and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

The world's most powerful countries dominate the headlines, wield great influence in the political arena and play a key role in shaping global economic models.

The ranking took into account scores on five indicators: leadership, economic influence, political influence, strong international alliances and a strong army. 

Belarus ranked 35th in the ranking.

The leader in the ranking is the United States. The second place was taken by Russia, China closed the top three. Next are Germany, Britain, France, Japan, Israel, Saudi Arabia and South Korea.

The least influence on world politics and economy have Slovakia, Slovenia, as well as Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, reports ej.by.
