Belarus ranks second in the EAEU in terms of average salary growth

According to the Eurasian Economic Union, the real average salary in Belarus in 2021, increased by 5.1%, Sputnik reported.

However, the growth of the real average monthly salary in Belarus has slowed down. In 2020, salaries in Belarus increased by 8.8%

The highest average salary in Russia is 777 US dollars. In Belarus, it amounted to 568 US dollars.

Most of the workers in the Belarusian market are employed in the service sector (61.4% of the total number of employees). Industry is in second place with 23.6% of workers.

In 2021, the unemployment rate in Belarus was 3.9%. This is the lowest percentage in the EAEU.
