Belarus restricted drones for personal purposes

The new decree prohibits individuals from using and importing civilian drones into the country, BelTA reported. It is also prohibited to store and sell/buy drones, Devby.io reported.

Now, only organizations and individual entrepreneurs are allowed to import, store, operate and produce civilian drones for the purposes of their entrepreneurial and professional activities.

The ban on the operation and storage of drones comes into force on September 26, 2023. The ban on storage and purchase/sale comes into force after 6 months. During these six months, individuals can sell their drones to organizations or sole proprietors or transfer them for storage to an authorized organization determined by the government.
