Belarus rose to 50th place in human development ranking-UNDP

Belarus has risen three positions in the global human development ranking and now shares the 50th place with Kazakhstan among 189 countries. Belarus is in the group of countries with a high level of human development, and for the second year in a row.

The human development index is based on open statistics on three main indicators: life expectancy, literacy rate and the number of years spent in education, as well as the standard of living estimated through gross national income per capita.
