Belarus-Russia roaming calls will become free

The fee for incoming calls in roaming on the territory of the Union State (Belarus and Russia) will be annihilated from April 1, BELTA writes. The Russian government on March 23, 2022 made this decision.

Earlier, when Russian operators reduced roaming tariffs, the number of subscribers using cellular communications in Belarus increased by 15%. Incoming calls increased by 1.5 times, outgoing calls by 2 times, Internet usage increased by 1.6 times.

The Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus have been instructed to ensure the cancellation of charges for incoming roaming calls on the territory of the Union State.
