Belarus sent special equipment and rescuers to Turkey
A military transport plane with humanitarian cargo, special equipment for search operations, as well as a squad of 64 rescuers flew to Turkey from Belarus, Sputnik reported.
On the morning of February 6, an earthquake of magnitude 7.7 occurred in the southeast of Turkey, which became the most destructive in the last 80 years.
Rescuers from Belarus will assist in the elimination of the consequences. Belarusian special equipment will be used in the most affected regions to sort out the rubble and search for survivors.
In December, Belarus sent humanitarian cargo to Pakistan.
