Belarus suspends oil pumping through "Druzhba"

Belarus has suspended the pumping of oil through the "Druzhba" pipeline in the direction of Slovakia and Hungary. The suspension is connected with the reception of oil through the Odessa-Brody pipelinebelta.by reports.

"Until September 13, “Belneftekhim” stopped pumping through the "Druzhba" trunk oil pipeline in the direction of Budkovitsa and Feneshlitka, launching it into reverse due to the reception of a batch of oil through the Odessa — Brody oil pipeline to the territory of Belarus" - said Igor Demin, an official representative of "Transneft".

"There is no emergency. Everything is regular and agreed within the framework of the oil pumping schedule" - Belneftekhim commented.

It was also reported that Belarus expects to supply up to 1 million tons of oil from the Azerbaijani company in 2021.
