Belarus' tennis player returned to WTA top 5

Arina Sobolenko has returned to the top five of the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) rankings, BELTA reports. Recently we wrote that Belarusian Alina Harnasko became the winner of the international rhythmic gymnastics tournament UAE Gymnastics Cup in Dubai.

After reaching the final of the tournament in the Netherlands, Arina Sobolenko rose from 6th to 5th place in the ranking, scoring 4145 points. Belarusian Victoria Azarenka remained on the 19th line, Alexandra Sasnovich takes 38th place.

1. Iga Sventek (Poland) - 8631 points;
2. Anett Kontaveit (Estonia) - 4511;
3. Paula Badosa (Spain) - 4245;
4. Uns Jabir (Tunisia) - 4150;
5. Arina Sobolenko (Belarus) – 4145.
