Belarus to build 10 gas stations a year

The government has approved programs for the development of the gas station network, according to which there should be 860 gas stations in Belarus by 2025, Sputnik reported.

The state and companies with state ownership own more than half of the gas stations in Belarus. Now there are 840 gas stations n Belarus, 575 of which belong to state organizations and business entities with a state share.

Now the most gas stations are on the routes M-1/E 30 (Brest - Minsk - border of the Russian Federation), M-3 (Minsk - Vitebsk), M-4 (Minsk - Mogilev), M-6/E 28 (Minsk - Grodno - border of Poland), and M-7/E 28 (Minsk - Ashmyany - Lithuanian border).

It is proposed to create 10 new gas stations in 2023 and 11 each in 2024 and 2025.

The cost of motor fuel throughout Belarus has been decreasing weekly since March of this year.
