Belarus to cooperate with Pan-African Parliament

The Ambassador of Belarus to the Republic of South Africa and Zimbabwe met with the Chairman of the Pan-African Parliament, BelTA reported.

During the meeting, the Ambassador expressed the interest of the Belarusian side in developing cooperation with the countries of the African continent and the Pan-African Parliament.

At the meeting, one of the possible ways of cooperation was discussed — obtaining observer status for the National Assembly of Belarus at the Pan-African Parliament.

The topic of cooperation between Belarus and Zimbabwe in the political, trade and economic spheres was also touched upon.

Let us remind you that Belarus is considering the possibility of full participation in the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Measures in Asia.
