Belarus to Host First Women Scientists Forum in June

Belarus will hold its first national forum of women scientists in June, Belarus Today notifies.

The event is organized by the Belarusian Union of Women and the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

Participants from across the country will represent various fields, including education, healthcare, and industry.

The forum is part of the Year of the Belarusian Woman initiative and aims to highlight the role of women in science and society.

Women currently make up about half of the researchers at the National Academy of Sciences and are активно involved in both professional and social activities.
