Belarus to improve financial support for teachers

Serious systemic measures for financial support of teachers are being implemented in Belarus, writes pravo.by with reference to BELTA.

In 2021, teachers' salaries increased by 11% on average in the country. For 2022, the President also set serious tasks to increase wages.

Financial support is aimed at teachers who work as classroom teachers and undergo additional education. Belarus is also trying to attract male teachers. Also, a system of pedagogical classes will give young people the opportunity to work as teachers even with college education.
