Belarus to increase rail transportation to China

Belarus, the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan plan to increase the volume of rail container traffic to China, BelTA writes. Recently we wrote that the supply of Belarusian goods to China is gradually increasing.

At the meeting, the Heads of three railway companies said that the number of applications from shippers of Belarus and the Russian Federation in the direction of China through Kazakhstan has increased significantly. Also, the volume of transit traffic in all directions of the Eurasian Railway is being restored.

The heads of the three railway companies considered proposals for the passage of increased export volumes across the border between Kazakhstan and China. Thef trains of increased length will be added and further improvement of the technology of border crossings in cooperation with Chinese Railways will be made.
