Belarus to Launch Crypto Bank with Cards and Crypto-Backed Loans
Belarus may launch its first crypto bank in 2026 as part of a state-regulated financial system overseen by the National Bank and the Hi-Tech Park, Minsk-News writes.
The bank is expected to offer crypto-backed loans, staking services for passive income, and a crypto-linked payment card allowing purchases in regular stores with automatic conversion into Belarusian rubles.
Self-employed individuals will be able to legally accept cryptocurrency payments and pay taxes through the bank. Licensing will require substantial capital and guarantee funds.
