Belarus to send 16 athletes to Paralympics 2022

At the Paralympics 2022, 16 athletes in two sports will represent Belarus: biathlon and cross-country skiing, the Minsk-News agency writes with reference to BELTA.

In the competition,12 Belarusian Paralympians will participate, as well as four leaders who will accompany athletes with visual impairments along the track. Compared to world leaders, Belarus has a small team. However, athletes can take 5-7 medals.

The XIII Winter Paralympic Games will be held in Beijing (China) from March 4 to 13. Among the participants, 78 sets of awards will be awarded in six sports: alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, biathlon, snowboarding, sledge hockey and wheelchair curling.
