Belarus to strengthen airspace control

The Prosecutor General's Office demanded to strengthen control over the use of the airspace of Belarus, Minsk-News reported. The reason is the increase in violations due to ignorance of the requirements of the legislation on flights.

Over the past year, the number of violations during flights of ultralight aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles has increased. The Aviation Department has already registered 195 cases (126 last year). Some of these flights were conducted over crowded places and industrial facilities, as well as on unregistered aircraft and with passengers on board.

The Prosecutor General's Office demanded to strengthen the interaction of the Aviation Department with law enforcement and government agencies in order to prevent and sort out such violations.
