Belarus to suspend education agreement with Poland

The Belarusian side will suspend the agreement with Poland on cooperation in the field of education, Sputnik reported.

The agreement was signed and ratified in 2016. The bill on suspending the document has already been submitted to the Belarusian parliament and is being prepared for the first reading.

Cooperation between educational institutions of all levels, professional development, scientific conferences, student exchange and teacher training were possible.

Termination of the agreement will not affect the current exchange programs or joint projects, but will cancel the possibility of new cooperation.
