Belarus to take part in BRICS summit events for the first time

Belarusian Foreign Minister Sergei Aleynik and the Belarusian delegation will take part in the events of the BRICS summit in South Africa, Sputnik reported.

The summit will raise the theme of BRICS countries' partnership with African countries. The summit is scheduled for August 22-24. China, India, Brazil, Russia, Belarus and South Africa will take part in it.

Let us remind you that in May, Belarus applied to join the BRICS.
