Belarus took the 25th place in popularity of cryptocurrencies

Chainalysis analysts updated the annual global ranking of countries by popularity of cryptocurrencies, the Global Crypto Adoption Index. Belarus took the 25th place, devby.io reported. In 2022, Belarus also ranked 94th in terms of profitability of mining.

Vietnam continues to hold the first place in the list. The Philippines and Ukraine also entered the top 3. Ukraine rose one position in the year.

Analysts noted that one of the main trends of 2022 is the growth of the use of cryptocurrencies in developing countries, which prevail in the top 20. People in such countries use the crypt for money transfers and as a means of their savings during a period of high volatility of traditional currencies, as well as for the realization of financial needs unique to their countries.
