Belarus U16 Thrash Slovakia in European Field Hockey Championship Opener

Belarus U16 women’s field hockey team started the European Championship (Division II) with a dominant 9–0 win over Slovakia, Minsk-News notifies.

The tournament is played in a 5-a-side format, and the Belarusian team competes under its national flag.

Next matches are scheduled for July 2 against Armenia and Russia, followed by a game with Bulgaria. The top two teams will advance to the final on July 4.

At the same time, Belarusian youth teams are also competing in parallel U16 European tournaments in Georgia and Turkey across different divisions for both boys and girls.
