Belarus wants to introduce cashback for travelers across the country

Belarus may introduce tourist cashback for those who travel within the country, minsknews.by reports.

The Republican Union of Tourism Organizations held a meeting at which proposals to stimulate the development of domestic tourism were discussed. The Union offers to return to people who book tours, part of the cost to the card: for adults - about 20%, for children - 50-100%. Such a scheme already works in Russia.

It is not yet known whether the Ministry of Sports and Tourism will approve this idea. It is preliminarily planned to launch the mechanism from January 2023.
