Belarus will fulfill all conditions for joining the SCO by June

The President stated that Belarus intends to fulfill all the procedures for joining the Shanghai Cooperation Organization by the June 2023 summit in Delhi, BelTA reported.

At a meeting with the SCO Secretary General, the President of Belarus said that all the necessary legal procedures will be carried out in the country by June.

The decision to except Belarus into the SCO was made at the last summit in September 2022.

During the official visit of the President of Belarus to Beijing, the countries have signed almost 40 agreements and contracts totaling 3.5 billion US dollars.
