Belarus will pay for gas in Russian rubles

From April Belarus will pay for gas in Russian rubles. The Minister of Energy of Belarus and the Chairman of the Gazprom Management Board signed the relevant documents on April 5, the Minsk-News agency writes with reference to the Government of Belarus Telegram channel.

The documents define the conditions for the supply of Russian gas to Belarus in 2022, taking into account the transition to Russian rubles in calculations. Now the price of natural gas has become more profitable for Belarus. Taking into account the agreements reached, the government will decide in the near future to reduce the price burden on natural gas consumers.
