Belarus will start use UnionPay actively

Belarus plans to actively use the UnionPay payment system, BelTA reported. We remind you that two new smartphone payment apps were launched in Belarus.

Now there will be more UnionPay cards in Belarus, which can be used to pay inside the country, in China and in more than a hundred countries around the world. According to the plan, Belarusbank will start issuing payment cards in December of this year.

UnionPay is an international payment system established in 2002. The initiators were the State Council and the People's Bank of China.
