Belarusian basketball players qualified to the semifinals of the European Basketball Championship

The basketball players of the Belarusian national team qualified to the semifinals of the Women's European Championship, minsknews.by reports.

In the 1/4 final of the European Basketball Championship among women's teams, the Belarusian national team defeated rivals from Sweden 58:46.

In the semifinals, the republic's team will meet in Valencia with the French national team, which beat Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The European Basketball Championship takes place from June 17 to 27 in Spain and France. The semifinals will be held on June 26, the final match and the meeting for the bronze awards will be held on June 27.

Thanks to reaching the semifinals, the Belarusians qualified for the 2022 World Cup.
