Belarusian chalk quarries opened for visitors

The chalk quarries near the town of Vaŭkavysk were officially opened to visitors. However, you can visit them only as part of an excursion, "Sobiray Rukzak" reported.

The route of an hour and a half excursion tour begins with a visit to the museum at the Krasnoselsk's cement plant. Then tourists visit the observation deck of the quarry. It is not allowed to go down to the water.

The so-called "Belarusian Maldives" are one of the most popular places in Belarus for Instagram shoots.

For a long time, it was forbidden to visit the quarry due to security reasons.
