Belarusian company to open IKEA alternative in Russia
The company "Merdem" from Belarus is preparing to open an alternative store with IKEA goods in Russia. This company has already opened two YOKO stores in Belarus with electronics, gifts and other goods, Sputnik reported.
The products will be completely identical in design and quality to the goods from the Swedish IKEA. They will be produced at enterprises, which were previous IKEA suppliers in Russia. These enterprises are located in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, as well as in Asian countries abroad.
The first store with IKEA analogues will open in March in Moscow. According to the plan, 4 stores will appear there. Negotiations are also underway in St. Petersburg.
Last week it was announced, that Craft company with a co-founder from Belarus had raised $32 million investments.
