Belarusian food exports to the EU increased by 1.5 times

In 2022, the supplies of Belarusian food products to the European Union increased by 1.5 times, Sputnik reported.

Belarus supplies food to more than 100 countries. Last year, the volume of exports became the record 8.3 billion US dollars. At the same time, about 70% of Belarus' food exports go to the Russian market.

Suppliers also continue to expand the geography of exporting. Much attention is on China. Last year, trial batches of products were sent to African countries.

Last week, Belarus and Tajikistan agreed on mutual trade.
